No submission without consent. Your materials go nowhere without your permission for that specific opportunity.
No mass submissions. Blasting a résumé across a market can foreclose firms for a year.
No contact with your firm. We do not approach your current or former employers, or anyone in your network without your instruction.
No fees to you, ever. We are paid by hiring law firms and legal departments. Candidates never pay us anything.

Who pays you?
The hiring firm or legal department — always. Working with us costs a candidate nothing.
Do I need a résumé to start?
No. The first step is a conversation. Materials come later, if and when a specific opportunity calls for them — and they move only with your consent.
The role I was contacted about isn’t on this site. Is that normal?
Yes — we don’t post our searches publicly. Most are confidential. If you want to confirm an approach is really ours, reach out to us directly.
Do you work with associates?
We do work with associates. When a longstanding firm client has a priority need, they come to us to fill it. If we reach out to you regarding an associate search, it is a real, requested need from that firm. We do not broadly work with associates outside of these requests from our firm clients.
What practice areas are you most active in?
We work across all practice areas and prioritize them as our firm clients ask us to. We are particularly active in private equity, M&A, IP (prosecution and litigation), commercial litigation, real estate, and finance.
What if I’m not seriously considering a move and just want to do a market check?
We are happy to talk generally with you and give our opinion about your position in the lateral market, including our opinions on where your compensation should be. No commitment necessary.
